This position will sit in either Franklin, TN, Providence, RI, or at one of our CTC Clinics.   Our Benefits: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Acadia Healthcare 401(k) plan - Paid vacation and sick time - Opportunity for growth that is second to none in the industry  Your Job as a Regional Patient Account Representative: The Regional Patient Account Representative will monitor patient balances to ensure compliance with group policies and provide information and direction to clinic staff regarding patient financial obligations.    Your Responsibilities as a Regional Patient Account Representative: - Answer clinic questions regarding patient accounts (co-pay, co-insurance, deductibles, etc.) - Serve as an escalation point for patient financial questions or concerns. - Ensure that information is communicated accurately and timely between clinic staff and the region’s centralized billing office. - Review whether assigned clinics are securing patient payments on a timely basis. - Negotiate and secure payment on aged balances. Propose discounts when appropriate.  - Complete Self-Pay adjustment form and submit for approval, see SOP. - Monitor compliance with authorization and referral requirements. - Identify and propose opportunities to increase collection rates and enhance patient understanding and awareness of their financial benefits and obligations. - Monitor and report key metrics. - Audit patient accounts for completeness and accuracy (i.e., signed financial consent(s), Insurance Verification Form (IVF), authorization, Insurance card (front/back), driver’s license, etc.).
