Gifford Street Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in New Bedford, MA, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers—the nation's leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. We provide a continuum of care that includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and mobile treatment units. Your Job as an Office Assistant:

The Administrative Support role will perform various administrative functions assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the clinic.  Responsibilities may include answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general administrative tasks assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the clinic.
• May include a combination of answering telephones, billing, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.
• Operate the front desk duties during peak hours or when primary staff in unavailable.
• Sort, organize and maintain office records.
• Assist with new patient enrollments as necessary.
• Assist with various insurance/billing reports as necessary.
• May assist with patient drug testing procedures; and,
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation for roles at Gifford Street CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Gifford Street CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below.

Role Location: Massachusetts

Calculated Salary Range for the role: $21.00 - $21.00 per hour

This position is funded through a grant and is contingent upon continued grant funding. Employment in this role is subject to the terms and conditions of the grant, and the position may be modified or discontinued based on funding availability. While we strive for long-term stability, candidates should be aware that grant-funded positions are subject to renewal and continuation of funding.

Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Experienced in answering telephones, billing, typing or computer word processing, office machine operation, and filing
• Must be comfortable with working in an addiction recovery environment
