Providence Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Providence, RI, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers—the nation's leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. We provide a continuum of care that includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and mobile treatment units. Our approach to holistic addiction care extends beyond clinical treatment, incorporating recovery coaching, community outreach and partnerships to ensure patients receive comprehensive, patient-centered support.

Full Time Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:15 am - 1:15 pm

Your Job as an Administrative Support/Medical Biller:

The Administrative Support/Medical Biller role will perform routine administrative functions such as preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to patients or visitors. The Administrative Support/Medical Biller may work with patients to secure billing information, reconciling billing reports and verifying insurance for patients. Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain and retrieve general files for clinic or department.
  • Manage and coordinate administrative programs or office activities.
  • Use computer software to create spreadsheets, manage databases, and prepare presentations, reports, and documents.
  • Answer telephones, takes messages or transfer calls.
  • Schedule appointments and update calendars.
  • Assist in arranging staff meetings, handle incoming/outgoing mail and faxes, prepare memos, invoices, or other reports.
  • Maintain databases and filing systems, whether electronic or paper.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping as needed.
  • May work with patients to secure billing information, reconciling billing reports and verifying insurance for patients.
  • Perform duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and clinic procedures.

 

Compensation for roles at Providence Comprehensive Treatment Center varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Providence Comprehensive Treatment Center provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Rhode Island as set forth below.

Role Location: Rhode Island

Calculated Salary Range for the role: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Qualifications

Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; secretarial or similar training preferred
  • 2+ years secretarial or administrative experience required; healthcare experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and systems such as word processing and spreadsheet software, managing files and patient records
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and discretion with confidential information
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Must be bilingual Spanish speaking, reading & writing
  • Must be comfortable with working in an addiction recovery environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English required
