Our Team:

The Acadia Comprehensive Treatment Centers Region 22 operates 7 outpatient opioid treatment programs (OTPs) across a footprint of three states: Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. Our operations team provides daily oversight and management of outpatient clinics for patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Our mission is to provide full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medication-assisted treatment (MAT) medications. Our team is the front line of our fight against the opiate epidemic.

Your Job as a Regional Director:

The Regional Director is ultimately responsible for the daily administration and supervision of the assigned regional program clinics. This includes fostering compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, successful business performance and the direct supervision of the clinic directors and clinic operations staff.

 

Location & Hours: The Regional Director must be willing to travel to clinics in MD, DE, & NJ on a regular basis. Our CTC clinics have early morning hours of operation with a typical opening time of 5:00 AM.

 

Your Responsibilities as a Regional Director:

  • Complies with Opioid Treatment Program Division operating policies and procedures.
  • Reviews clinic and Opioid Treatment Division Policies and Procedures Manual(s) on an annual basis making recommendations for revision.
  • Responsible for implementation and management of Corporate HR system in the clinics supervised.
  • Provides supervision to clinic department heads and other personnel as needed.
  • Responsible for public relations and marketing efforts related to clinic operation.
  • Responsible for payer and referral source satisfaction with the clinic.
  • Responsible for physical plant improvements and appearance of the clinics supervised.
  • Collaborate with clinic directors in organization development and training of clinic staff.
  • Collaborates with governing bodies in the development of clinic-specific annual operating capital budgets and strategic business plans. Assures that the medical staff is involved and provides input into this process through coordination with the office of the Medical Director.
  • Achieves regional financial results to meet operations budget.
  • Manages day-to-day operations and staff so that the clinics achieve their objectives in all the following key performance areas: effective patient care outcomes, appropriate fiscal management, maintenance of licensure, accreditation and other regulatory criteria, and implementation of focused business development processes.
  • Creates and maintains a network of local constituency groups to include government agencies, local businesses, affiliate health providers, and the surrounding community.
  • Assesses team performance, both individual members and the team as a whole, assesses competencies, and provides coaching/corrective action and performance improvement as appropriate.
  • Ensures participation of staff in facility/program wide in-service and continuing education programs.
  • Oversees contract relationships to include regular reporting on contract performance as well as new revenue generation and growth.
  • Routinely attends and as appropriate, chairs periodic meetings with the medical staff, executive management team, and other departments of the clinics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing or a clinical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • MBA/MHA preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Experience in multi-site operational management/oversight required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leadership role in behavioral health, acute care, or managed care environment required.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations; deep understanding of MAT (medication-assisted treatment), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment.
  • Proven ability to lead successful licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial P&L management, and business development processes.
  • Must be geographically mobile and able to travel throughout Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. Ideal candidates are located within MD, DE, NJ, or in close proximity to our CTC clinics across state lines.
